Caroline Gardner CBE has an extensive background in auditing and governance, currently serving as Chair of the Audit Oversight Body at PwC UK and as Senior Independent Director at Wheatley Group. In academia, Caroline holds the position of Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow and is a Doctoral student at Newcastle University. Caroline's leadership experience includes roles as Trustee of the International Futures Forum and Board member of the International Federation of Accountants. Previously, Caroline was Auditor General for Scotland and held various influential positions in educational institutions and public sector audit appointments. Caroline’s educational achievements encompass degrees in Victorian Literature, English Literature, an MBA, and accountancy.
