Michelle Zelli is an experienced news producer currently serving as a Senior News Producer at WHAS-TV since June 2020, where responsibilities include training new hires and leading in the newsroom. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Television News Producer at WMAZ-TV from June 2018 to June 2020, and held the position of News Producer at WSIU TV in 2017 to 2018, serving as the Assignment Editor for the River Region Evening edition. Earlier experience includes working at WSIL-TV as an Associate Producer from 2016 to 2018, where tasks involved video editing, graphics creation, and live newscast direction. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, obtained in 2018.
