Irene Zhang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax strategy and advisory roles. Currently serving as the Managing Director and Global Head of Tax at Moelis & Company since March 2011, Irene leads the global tax function for a publicly traded investment bank and its asset management affiliate, successfully establishing a world-class tax team and executing the firm’s IPO. In addition, Irene is the CFO of the Investment Screening Committee for Wharton Alumni Angels, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and investors within the Penn community. Prior experience includes advisory roles at EY and Deloitte, focusing on private equity and family office tax reporting and strategies. Irene holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the Zicklin School of Business.
