Jamie Petraglia is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial professional with extensive experience in sales, trading, and asset management. As the Founder and CEO of Whale since July 2023, Petraglia previously led 29th Street Capital as Principal of 29SC Ventures from August 2023 to June 2024. Previous roles include Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Latch, and Relationship Manager for Ultra High Net Worth clients at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Also notable is the tenure as Senior Private Client Advisor at City National Bank & Wilmington Trust, and Senior Institutional Sales and Trading at Aqua Equities. Prior to these positions, Petraglia founded White Cap Trading & Investment Technology Group, which was acquired by ITG in 2010, and co-headed trading at Archipelago "ARCAX". Early career experience includes trading at Bear Hunter Specialists. Petraglia holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Delaware.
