Jonathan Acosta is a seasoned sports journalist currently serving as a Sports Reporter at WGRZ since August 2023. Previously, Jonathan worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at KFSM Channel 5 from September 2021 to July 2023 and held the role of Sports Reporter/Anchor at KVAL TV CBS & KMTR NBC 16 Eugene from January 2021 to September 2021. Jonathan's career in sports journalism began at KVAL-TV as a Sports Producer from August 2019 to September 2021 and included reporting duties at WRUF-ESPN Gainesville from January 2016 to May 2019, where responsibilities encompassed developing multimedia articles and delivering sports updates. Jonathan also gained experience as a Front Desk Student Assistant at the Health Science Center Library from October 2015 to November 2017, supporting staff and managing patron services. Jonathan is an alumnus of the University of Florida.
