Al Romero is an experienced media professional with a career spanning several decades in broadcasting. Currently serving as a Freelance Writer at WGN-TV since October 2015, Romero has previously held significant roles including Content Producer at NBC 5 Chicago and Special Projects Producer at WGN-TV. Other positions include Executive Producer for WGN News at 9, Newscast Producer at WABC-TV, and Newscast Producer and Writer at Fox News Chicago. Romero began a career in news writing at WBBM-TV.
