Katy Rogers is an experienced producer in the broadcast industry, currently working at NewsNation since April 2023. Previously, Katy has held multiple producer roles at CNN since April 2016, including positions for "Across America with Carol Costello" and "HLN Morning Express." Prior experience includes producing at The Weather Channel and at CNN/HLN from 2009 to 2014, where Katy was a senior producer on significant trials for HLN, including those of Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony. Katy’s career began as a video editor for CNN/Sports Illustrated, where highlights of major sports events were edited for broadcast. Katy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Tech, both earned from 1996 to 2000.
