Melissa McKinlay currently serves as the Vice President of Government Relations at WGI since December 2022. In addition to this role, McKinlay is a Board Member of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County Inc., both from July 2023. McKinlay has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the South Florida Fair & Palm Beach County Expositions, Inc. since November 2014 and has volunteered with the Junior League since August 1996. Past responsibilities include serving as a member of the Board of Trustees for HCA Florida Palms West Hospital from January 2019 to December 2023, and an appointee on the Local Government Advisory Committee for the US Environmental Protection Agency from July 2021 to December 2022. McKinlay was a County Commissioner for Palm Beach County from November 2014 to December 2022 and held the position of Immediate Past President of the Florida Association of Counties, where participation extended to various committees, including Public Safety Policy. McKinlay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Sociology from Florida State University.
