Meghan Smith is a seasoned digital producer with extensive experience in multimedia journalism and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Digital Producer at GBH News since January 2019, Meghan reports and produces local news stories, develops coverage on the disability community, and collaborates with teams to optimize content for digital platforms. Prior experience includes roles as a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist at Tufts University Gordon Institute, where Meghan oversaw website content and email marketing, and as a Communications and Outreach Coordinator at Harvard University's South Asia Institute, where Meghan produced multimedia content and grew social media presence. Early career positions include Managing Editor at The Gavel and a Digital Editorial Intern at Boston Magazine. Meghan holds a BA in Political Science from Boston College and a Master's degree in Journalism from Harvard Extension School. Additionally, Meghan studied Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Granada.
