Scott Menegon is a Senior Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology since 2014 and has held various roles, including Research Fellow and Sessional Teaching Staff - Lecturer. Currently, Scott serves as a Senior Structural Engineer (Consultant) at WGA (Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec) and has previously worked as a Senior Structural Engineer in different managerial capacities there from 2018 to 2020. In 2023, Scott was appointed President of the Australian Earthquake Engineering Society. Prior experience includes roles as a structural engineer from 2008 to 2018 at Project Services and as a Sessional Teaching Staff - Tutor at Queensland University of Technology. Scott holds a PhD in Structural Engineering and Earthquake Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, a Master of Engineering Structures from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
