Wes Bishop is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in broadcast and media technology. Currently serving as a Systems Engineer at WFMY News 2 since July 2023, Wes has previously held significant positions including Engineering Maintenance Supervisor at FOX 46 Charlotte and Media Manager at Virginia Tech. Wes's expertise spans various roles such as Engineering Manager, Production Engineer at Turner Studios, and Project Manager/Software Developer at CNN, where innovative broadcast technologies were researched and implemented. A former Broadcast Television Engineer in the USAF, Wes has accumulated extensive knowledge in the maintenance and installation of broadcast equipment, supported by education from the USAF Schools of Television Broadcast Engineering, Leadership and Management, and Jet Aircraft Maintenance.
