Kelly Verhelst SCMP, CPSM, GIE has over 25 years of work experience. Kelly started their career at United Grain Growers in 1994, where they served as an Elevator Assistant and later became an Elevator Manager. Kelly'sresponsibilities included managing grain inventories, budgeting, negotiating contracts with farm producers, and conducting performance reviews. In 1999, Kelly joined PotashCorp as a Contract Specialist, where they focused on strategic purchasing, inventory management, maintaining vendor relationships, and policy change. Kelly also contributed to the implementation of the Behavioral Based Safety Program. Since 2016, Kelly has been with Weyerhaeuser, initially working as a Materials Manager and currently serving as the Regional Procurement & Capital Lead - Canada. Kelly'srole involves executing MRO procurement strategy, supporting Canadian mills, maintaining corporate contracts, and providing national contract support for various categories. Kelly is recognized for their leadership, innovation, and safety mindset.

Kelly Verhelst SCMP, CPSM, GIE has a Purchasing Designation from Purchasing Management of Canada, which was obtained from 2008 to 2011. Kelly also holds a Certificate in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, earned from 1996 to 1999. Furthermore, they are a Certified Combined Technician from SIAST in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist, achieved from 1993 to 1994. Additionally, Kelly Verhelst was working towards a Certificate in Business from SIAST during the same period. Kelly also holds a General Insurance Essentials certification from The Insurance Institute of Canada, obtained in the year 2011.
