Haydan Evans has a diverse work experience in the forestry industry. Haydan started their career at Temple-Inland, where they worked as an Inventory/GIS Forester, District Forester, and Team Leader Silviculture Operations/Roads Manager. Haydan then moved to Campbell Global, where they held positions as Harvest Manager, Area Manager, and Southwest Region Operations. Currently, they are with Weyerhaeuser, serving as the Director of Southern Silviculture and Regeneration. Haydan was recently promoted to the position of Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy and Investments. Overall, Haydan has over 20 years of experience in the field and has held various managerial roles.

Haydan Evans holds a Master's Degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from Stephen F. Austin State University, which was obtained from 1998-2000. Haydan also has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Howard Payne University, obtained from 1994-1997. Additionally, Haydan obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from West Texas A&M University College of Business, which was completed from 2010-2012. Haydan has also obtained several certifications, including Texas Accredited Forester from the Texas Accredited Forester Council in 2015, Private Pesticide Applicator License from the Texas Department of Agriculture in April 2013, and Agile and Integrated Project Management from St. Edward's University in 2006.
