Cheryl Matson is an experienced Early Childhood Administrator with over two decades in educational leadership. Currently, Cheryl serves as the GSRP Early Childhood Contact for Wexford-Missaukee Intermediate School District, specializing in grant applications and ensuring compliance across multiple preschool programs. Previous roles include serving as the State and Federal Programs Director and General Education Consultant at Manistee Area Public Schools and Manistee ISD, where Cheryl oversaw Title I programs and school improvement initiatives. Additionally, Cheryl was the Principal at Madison Elementary School and held various leadership positions at Baldwin Community Schools, focusing on curriculum development and professional growth. Cheryl holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University, along with endorsements in Early Childhood Education.
