Zijian Zheng is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data, artificial intelligence, and risk management. Currently serving as SVP for Data, AI, and Risk at WEX, Zijian has previously held senior leadership roles at Marqeta as SVP of Data, and at Visa, where responsibilities included SVP of Data Platform and VP of Risk & Authentication Product Development. Prior experience includes a role as Partner Group Engineer Manager of the ASG Data Mining Team at Microsoft and as a Senior Software Engineer in Data Mining at Amazon.com. Zijian holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from The University of Sydney and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
