Maël Boulangé has a diverse work experience, beginning with a role as an Agent de restauration at EHPAD - Établissement Hébergement pour Personnes Agées Dépendantes in 2012. Maël then moved on to become a Hôte de caisse at E. Leclerc in 2015, followed by a Stage opérateur at GRDF in 2016 and a Facteur at Le Groupe La Poste in the same year. In 2017, Maël held two roles simultaneously, as an Ingénieur stagiaire at IAV GmbH and as a Consultant stagiaire at Wavestone. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at EXEIS Conseil, starting as a Stagiaire - Consultant Junior and eventually becoming a Consultant Confirmé. Most recently, Maël has been working as a Freelance No-Code since 2021 and will become a Customer Success Manager at WeWeb in 2022.

Maël Boulangé obtained a Baccalauréat Scientifique from Lycée Montesquieu - Le Mans in 2012. Maël then went on to earn an Équivalence Licence 2 Mathématique et Physique from the same school in 2015, through the Classe Préparatoire aux Grande Écoles - Filière MPSI/PSI. Finally, Maël Boulangé earned an Engineer's degree in Organisation et Management des Technologies de l'Information from IMT Atlantique in 2018. Maël has also obtained a certification from WeWeb in April 2022.
