Alexandar Vassilev is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and product management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product and Technology Officer at WeTransfer since September 2020, Vassilev previously led Joyn GmbH as CEO from January 2018 to August 2020. Vassilev has held key product management roles at Google, contributing to Google Search and YouTube between 2007 and 2017. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Security Analyst at Leggett & Platt, a Technology Researcher at Jack Henry & Associates, and co-founding Aomeda. Vassilev holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from Missouri Southern State University.
