Toke Huntjens has extensive work experience in human resources, with a particular focus on HR management and consulting. They have held roles such as Human Resources Specialist at Wetlands International and Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek (PMT), where they provided HR support and expertise. Toke also served as Manager HRM a.i. at Het Cultuurgebouw and CSi palletising, overseeing HR functions and operations. They have also worked as a project coordinator, psychologist, and HR consultant in various organizations. Toke has been self-employed as the Owner/HR professional of Toke Huntjens P&O Advies since 2000.
Toke Huntjens began their education journey in 1978 at Utrecht University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Psychology. This program lasted for eight years and concluded in 1986. Post-graduation, Toke Huntjens attended De Baak in 1988-1989 to focus on Personeel & Organisatie (Personnel & Organization). In the year 2000, they enrolled in SIOO to complete a program called "Essentials in Consulting and Change." Two years later, from 2002 to 2003, Toke Huntjens studied Mediation, both general and specifically for divorce, at Stichting Training & Scholing NIP. In 2010, they briefly attended Bezemer & Schubad for a course in becoming a Vertrouwenspersoon ongewenste omgangsvormen (Confidential Advisor for Unwanted Behavior). Most recently, in 2018, Toke Huntjens enrolled at Wagner to pursue a Governance program for commissioners and supervisors.
