John Delaney is an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in graphics and user interfaces, currently working at WET (Design) since May 2024, focusing on proprietary graphics interfaces for fountain design. Prior to this role, Delaney served as a Software Engineer at ViQi Inc., where data visualization modules were developed for a cloud-based analysis platform. Delaney has significant experience in graphics software engineering from previous positions at AeroComputers, Inc., ViQi, UCSB Center for Bio-Image Informatics, and DreamWorks Animation. Education includes a Master’s degree in Media Art and Technology from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
