Xuliang Dai has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Dept. of Chemistry at MIT, where they focused on catalytical reduction of nitrogen to ammonia. After that, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering at North Dakota State University. Moving forward, Xuliang Dai joined GrafTech International as a Senior Staff Scientist, where they worked until 2017. They then became a Battery Anode Material Processing Consultant at Syrah Resources Ltd until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Research Associate at Vesuvius USA. Currently, Xuliang Dai is the R&D Director at Westwater Resources.
Xuliang Dai completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at Nankai University from 1992 to 1996. They then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organic Chemistry at the same institution from 1996 to 1999. Finally, Xuliang Dai obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Georgetown University from 1999 to 2004.
