Derek Davis has had a diverse range of roles in their work experience. Derek started their career at Country Bible Church in 2007, where they served as the Creative Arts Director until 2012. Derek then moved on to Legacy Christian Church, where they worked as the Video/Graphics Manager from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, Derek joined Westside Family Church and held two positions simultaneously - they became the Communication Coordinator in February and later transitioned to the role of Executive Director of Creative Arts & Programming.

Derek Davis attended Dana College from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art Education K-12.
