Dr. Mary Ann Jones has a diverse work history in the field of community services. Dr. Mary Ann began their career in 1997 as the Director of Prevention and Education at Oakwood Center of the Palm Beaches. In 2004, they transitioned to Westside Community Services as the Director of Clinical Services until 2007. Dr. Jones then took on the role of Chief Program Officer at Bay Area Community Services BACS from 2008 to 2010. Lastly, they returned to Westside Community Services, this time as the CEO, from 2010 to the present time.
Dr. Mary Ann Jones has a robust education history. Dr. Mary Ann received their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Mills College in 1983. As an undergraduate, they also participated in an exchange program at Spelman College in 1981-1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Neuroscience Fellowship at Howard University College of Medicine from 1986 to 1987. Dr. Jones then continued their education at The Wright Institute, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology in 1997. In 2014, they attended the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. It is worth noting that they also returned to The Wright Institute for further education, although the specifics of the degree and field of study are not provided.
