Jeff Ellis has been with Westrec since 1989 and been CFO since 1996. Mr. Ellis is responsible for maintaining relations with investors and corporate lenders, monitoring compliance issues on existing debt, and coordinating, overseeing and finalizing financing for new acquisitions and construction projects. In addition, he is responsible for negotiating and overseeing the company’s property and liability insurance, health care and workers compensation plans which cover Westrec’s 500+ employees. Mr. Ellis has been involved with raising over $40 million in capital for Westrec marina acquisitions and ventures and is responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local and tax reporting requirements for all corporate and partnership entities. Mr. Ellis received a BS degree from California State University, Northridge in 1982 and a CPA certification from the State of California in 1984. Before joining Westrec Mr. Ellis was VP, Controller for an affiliate of Public Storage, Inc. and an audit manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
