Sten Karlsson is the current CEO at Westpay. Sten has held this position since June 2010. Prior to that, they were the CEO at CUB Handdatorsystem from January 2007 to June 2010, where they led and executed a major company change from hardware focused reseller to software development based solution provider. The company is a 30+ MSEK provider of mobile logistics IT-solutions, primarily towards the retail market and industrial warehouse management segment.

From June 2005 to January 2007, Karlsson served as Vice President Europe at Handmark, where they were responsible for all European business activities including sales to mobile operators, handset manufacturers and media companies. Handmark is a global leader in mobile media, and creates and delivers consumer friendly access to news, reference, and infotainment content on cellphones and other wireless handhelds, including BlackBerry, Treo, and Windows Mobile devices.

Karlsson served as CEO & Co-founder at Real Venture Group AB from January 1998 to December 2003. Sten was also Manager at Ericsson from January 1989 to December 1998.

Sten Karlsson completed a MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology.
