Eliza Mathews has been with Westpac since January 2019, currently serving as Head of Infrastructure and Head of Sustainable Finance, following a role as Director of Sustainable Finance. Prior experience at ANZ from February 2009 to December 2018 includes positions as Associate Director for both Sustainable Finance and Structured Finance, where credit analysis and performance management of structured corporate finance transactions were key responsibilities, particularly for project finance borrowers in the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, Eliza held the role of Manager in Structured Asset & Export Finance, focusing on the origination and execution of transactions across multiple sectors within the region. Eliza began a career in finance as an Analyst in Structured Export Finance. Educationally, Eliza Mathews earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Arts (European Studies) from Macquarie University, completing studies between 2004 and 2008.
