Shawn Carrier is a highly experienced professional in environmental science and marine biology, currently serving as a Senior Project Scientist with Weston Solutions, Inc. since October 2015, where responsibilities include conducting environmental assessments and responses for various natural disasters. Previously, Shawn has held positions such as Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants and Environmental Project Coordinator at the University of Hawai‘i Sea Grant College, focusing on community outreach and education regarding marine issues. Early career roles included educational specialist positions involving marine mammal training and research at organizations like the North Pacific Universities Marine Mammal Research Consortium and the Vancouver Aquarium. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
