Faye Turner has extensive experience in the field of education, primarily as a teacher and special educator since beginning at Westmoreland County Public Schools in 1998, with a focus on students with multiple and intellectual disabilities. After a brief tenure at King George County Schools as a Special Education Teacher/Case Manager from 2004 to 2011, Faye returned to Westmoreland in 2011. Faye also served as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Empowering Youth for Positive Change in 2014-2015 and worked as adjunct faculty at Rappahannock Community College from 1999 to 2008. Prior to entering the education sector, Faye held a customer service role at Contel/GTE/Verizon. Faye holds multiple degrees, including a Master's of Arts in Law and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Special Education from Regent University, a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Virginia.
