Marietta Wynands has a strong background in Christian education and teaching. Marietta started their career in 1984 as a Language Arts Teacher at Rehoboth Netherlands Reformed School. From 1985 to 1990, they worked as a Teacher and Vice Principal at John Calvin Christian School. In 2000, they joined First Presbyterian Church as a Children's Ministries Associate until 2004. Marietta then moved to West Raleigh Presbyterian Church in 2003 and served as the Director of Christian Education until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Christian Education at Westminster Presbyterian Church, starting in December 2019.

Marietta Wynands has a strong educational background in the field of education and Christian studies. Marietta completed their Master's in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary between 2000 and 2005.
