Erik Mandler's work experience includes founding and serving as the President of the Bay Area Training Academy, which provides EMT training and job placement assistance. Erik also served as the President and Owner of Westmed Ambulance Service. Additionally, they were the President and Owner of Amerik Medical Billing, LLC, a medical billing company specializing in EMS, Ambulance, and Fire Incident claims processing. Prior to that, they were the President and Owner of EMSolutions. Erik Mandler also worked as the Senior Director of Operations at American Medical Response, overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of a medical transportation company. Erik served as the Chief Operations Officer at Medtrans and as the Director of Operations at Hartson Medical Services.

Erik Mandler's education history begins in 1984 when they obtained a Paramedic Certification from UC San Diego. In 1993, they enrolled at the University of Redlands to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, completing their degree in 1995. Erik later returned to the University of Redlands in 2001 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, which they earned in 2003.
