Lauren Popov, PhD, currently serves as an Associate at Westlake Village BioPartners® and a Manager at Bluebelle Bio, LLC, while also advising as an Investor and Advisor for Clutch Biotechnologies. Previously, Lauren held various leadership roles at Novome Biotechnologies, including Senior Director of Translational Biology, overseeing indication selection, external collaborations, and research groups. Academic work includes a postdoctoral role at UC Berkeley focusing on CRISPR/Cas9 technologies and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Stanford University, where research centered on Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis. Lauren has also contributed as an oral communications coach and course associate at Stanford, enhancing communication skills and instructing undergraduates in human biology. Educational qualifications include a BA with honors in Human Biology and a PhD from Stanford University, along with a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley.
