Nicolas Castro possesses extensive experience in the polymers industry, currently serving as the International Sales Polyethylene at Westlake Chemical since November 2018. Prior to this role, Nicolas held the position of Regional Manager for Central and South America Polymers at Vinmar International, Ltd. from May 2004 to August 2018, where responsibilities included developing and managing commercial strategies with a focus on business development. Earlier experience includes serving as the Polymers Manager for Mexico at Oxyde Chemicals, Inc., which involved establishing commercial operations and building a dedicated team. Nicolas holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Administration, specializing in polymers, from Tecnológico de Monterrey, earned between 1995 and 2000.
