Jay Davis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Jay currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer / Chief Financial Officer at Westhill Innovation Inc, a position they assumed in 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal at The Belwood Group starting from January 2018. From 2021 to 2023, they held the role of Chief Executive Officer at AWC Manufacturing LP.

In 2017, Jay joined Canada Post / Postes Canada as the Vice President Engineering, where they were responsible for leading the engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining the largest automated distribution logistics organization in Canada. During their tenure, they implemented various innovative processes, oversaw a significant CAPEX program, and played a key role in the design of the first CO2 neutral plant in the postal industry. Furthermore, they led the team that achieved the first commercial parcel delivery by drone in Canada.

From 2015 to 2016, Jay worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Hammond Power Solutions, where they were tasked with transforming the company into a profitable global organization. Jay played a pivotal role in growing EBITDA by 50% and increasing sales by 26%, particularly in the international divisions through strategic initiatives and joint ventures.

Previously, Jay held various leadership positions at Volvo Construction Equipment, including Vice President, Global Operations, and President of Volvo Construction Equipment Canada. During their tenure, they oversaw multiple business units, plants, and distribution networks, implemented lean manufacturing practices, and spearheaded the construction of the first CO2 neutral plant in the industry.

Jay's career began at General Motors in 1992, where they held several progressive leadership roles in production, engineering, labor relations, and health and safety. Jay also worked at Chrysler Motors Corp as an Ergonomic Specialist.

Jay Davis has a diverse education history. Jay first pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at the University of Windsor, specializing in Biomechanics and Biology. After completing their undergraduate studies, Jay went on to earn a Master's of Science degree in Manufacturing Operations from Kettering University.

In order to further enhance their business knowledge and skills, Jay pursued an Executive Organizational Leadership program at the Ivey Business School at Western University. Jay also completed a program in Strategic Mediation and Negotiation at Queen's University.

To deepen their understanding of global business strategy, Jay completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Strategy at the prestigious University of Oxford. In addition, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

In 2011, Jay's educational journey took him to Toyota in Nagoya, Japan, where they completed a program in Toyota Production System, focusing on lean manufacturing.
