Michael Peterson, CPA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as the Owner of Western Wisconsin Bookkeeping since October 2024, Michael previously held the position of Retail Finance Manager at Blain's Farm & Fleet from November 2022 to October 2024. Prior roles include Assistant Division Controller at Republic Services, Lead Internal Auditor at Dean Foods, and Lead Internal Auditor at Nokia, where responsibilities encompassed conducting comprehensive financial and operational audits globally. Michael's early career includes experience as an Audit Associate at KPMG US and an Accounting Intern at Generac Power Systems. Michael holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
