Sami Maamar is a seasoned soccer professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Elite Program at Western Washington Surf SC since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Head Coach and Video Analyst at LFC IA Washington from July 2021 to October 2023, and Head Coach of the NYRB Youth Program at New York Red Bulls between March 2020 and September 2021. Sami also directed the soccer program and coached the varsity team at Archbishop Riordan High School from November 2018 to November 2019, and held a head coach position at San Francisco Glens SC from January 2013 to March 2020. Earlier in the career, Sami worked at Idox plc as a Technical Support Analyst and at BOKU, Inc. as a Customer/Technical Support Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from The Art Institutes (2009-2012) and an Associate of Science in Hospitality Administration/Management from City College of San Francisco (2005-2008).
