Pinakin Davey has a strong background in the field of optometry and clinical research. Pinakin currently holds the position of Chief Medical and Science Officer at EyePromise since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Western University of Health Sciences, where they held various roles including Director of Clinical Research, Professor, Director of Research, and Associate Professor. From 2003 to 2014, they were also involved with the University of Louisville as an Adjunct Professor and Post-Doctoral Fellow, focusing on clinical research in glaucoma and imaging. Pinakin also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Memphis from 2009 to 2011 and as an Assistant Professor at Southern College of Optometry from 2006 to 2011. Overall, Pinakin Davey has a wealth of experience in the field of optometry, with an emphasis on clinical research and teaching.

Pinakin Davey completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Optometry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 1995 to 1999. Pinakin then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a focus on Corneal Parameters and Glaucoma at Anglia Ruskin University from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2006 to 2010, they obtained a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry.
