Shahami Urooj possesses extensive experience in software asset management and system administration, currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at Western Union since October 2017. Responsibilities include global SAM and HAM, process management, license and inventory maintenance, project team engagement, software renewals, compliance, audit handling, budgeting, vendor contracts, and MIS reporting. Urooj has demonstrated strong expertise in licensing models and software deployment for prominent publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Tibco, Red Hat, Citrix, and VMWare. Previous experience includes roles at Wipro Technologies Pune from June 2015 to October 2017, where Urooj managed software asset licensing and drove the implementation of asset management best practices. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Maharshi Dayanand University, completed between 2009 and 2015.
