Douglas Salazar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in information security and project management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Information Security at Western Union since November 2020, Douglas leads the Corporate Endpoint Security team and acts as the BISO Manager for Latin America, supporting security needs across Brazil, Peru, and Argentina. Prior to this role, Douglas spent over two decades at Intel Corporation in various positions, including Security Researcher, Project Manager, and Information Security Manager, where responsibilities included managing security operations, vulnerability analysis, and overseeing critical infrastructure projects. Douglas also held earlier roles as Operations Manager at RECOPE S.A. and Electrical Engineer at Grupo ICE. Douglas holds a master's degree in Project Management from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional and a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
