Andy Mcdowell

Vice President Of Western Field Operations at Western Reserve Land Conservancy

Andy McDowell is an experienced professional with a strong focus on environmental education and land conservation. Currently serving as Vice President of Western Field Operations at Western Reserve Land Conservancy since May 2006, McDowell oversees multiple field offices and manages land protection projects in north-central Ohio. Prior to this role, McDowell held the position of Vice President of Exhibits & Building Operations at Great Lakes Science Center, where responsibilities included the oversight of various facilities and educational exhibits. McDowell has also worked as an Environmental Interpretive Technician for the Pennsylvania Bureau of State Parks and served as a firefighter and EMT with Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company. As an adjunct instructor at Butler County Community College, McDowell taught courses in parks and recreation management. McDowell holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and an Associate's degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Butler County Community College.
