Leslie Marley has a long-standing career in the electrical engineering field, with extensive experience at Western Power since September 1982, serving in various roles including Senior System Operations Controller and Distribution Operations Controller. Prior to this, Leslie worked at the State Energy Commission from March 1977 to September 1982, where roles included Relay Maintainer and Apprentice Electrical Fitter, focusing on commissioning transmission terminals and high voltage switchgear maintenance. Leslie began the journey in the electrical sector as an Apprentice Electrical Fitter at the State Energy Commission from March 1976 to March 1977. Education includes an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Mount Lawley, attained between 1982 and 1989.
