Jenna Ames is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in both teaching and performing. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Appalachian State University, Jenna teaches fundamental music theory while also instructing violin and viola at the James C Harper School of Performing Arts. Additionally, Jenna performs as a violinist and violist with the Symphony of the Mountains and the Western Piedmont Symphony. Since 2007, Jenna has been a freelance musician, providing services for weddings and chamber music events. Jenna's diverse skill set is further complemented by part-time employment as a bus driver for AppalCART, designed to support teaching and performance commitments. Jenna holds a Master of Music in Viola Performance and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Appalachian State University.
