Rosalee MacKinnon has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role as the Director of Human Resources at Western Forest Products since March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Newmont Corporation from November 2018 to February 2020. Rosalee also worked as the Country HR Manager at Core Laboratories from October 2013 to October 2018, and as the Human Resources Director at Big Eagle Services from August 2011 to March 2013. Earlier in their career, they held various HR positions at Halliburton from 2003 to 2011, including Canada HR Manager and Total Compensation & Benefits Lead. Rosalee also gained experience in payroll at Safeway from June 2002 to April 2003.

Rosalee MacKinnon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria in the years 1998 to 2001. Rosalee later received a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Camosun College from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, they have a certification in Chartered Professional Human Resources from CPHR Alberta (formerly HRIA).
