Shan Staka, CPA, CGMA, MBA has more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. They began their career as a Staff Auditor in the Finance Department of the Albania Government, where they conducted financial and operational audits. Later, they worked as an Accountant at California Federal Bank/Citi Bank, serving over 1.5 million household accounts. In 2003, they joined PGP International, a food ingredient manufacturer, as a Controller, responsible for accounting, financial closing, reporting, budgeting, and cash management. In 2011, Shan became the CFO at Western Foods, overseeing accounting and IT functions, implementing financial infrastructure, improving operating control systems, and leading the strategic vision of the business. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial management, planning, and control.

Shan Staka, CPA, CGMA, MBA obtained a BA in Finance/Accounting from Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës, completing the degree between 1984 and 1988. Then, Shan pursued an MBA in Executive Management and Business Administration from Golden Gate University from 1999 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Shan became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the California Board of Accountancy in June 2008. In January 2011, Shan obtained a certification in International Financial Reporting Standards from the Cal CPA Education Foundation. Furthermore, Shan became a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) through the AICPA in May 2014.
