Brian McWethy is a skilled manufacturing engineer currently employed at Western Diversified Plastics since September 2021, following an extensive tenure at Summit Polymers where Brian held the position of Manufacturing Technical Leader from May 2013 to September 2021. In this role, Brian collaborated with engineering and manufacturing teams to provide robust assembly equipment to a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. Previously, as a Project Engineer at Summit Polymers, responsibilities included product development and enhancing part design while coordinating with tool shops on engineering changes to injection molds. Brian's career began as a Mechanical Process Intern at SSOE Group, providing CAD assistance in the engineering of food production lines, and as a CNC Operator at K&M Machine Fabrication, managing machine maintenance and tolerance measurement. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University, graduating in 2013.
