Sathyanarayanan Subramanian is an experienced engineering leader specializing in system design for storage products, with a career spanning from 2001 to the present. Since January 2017, Sathyanarayanan has held senior director positions at Western Digital, overseeing the design and development of a comprehensive portfolio of USB flash drives and portable SSDs, while managing a team of over 50 engineers. Prior experience includes roles at SanDisk, where Sathyanarayanan contributed significantly to product design and development, as well as positions at LSI, Sasken Communication Technologies, and SCM Microsystems, primarily focused on VLSI design. Sathyanarayanan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bharathiar University and Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.
