Peter Ahlström began their work experience in 2011 as an Executive Trainee at ABB. Peter then held various roles at ABB, including Global Product Line Manager, Global Product Manager, and Business Development Manager in Control Technologies. Peter'swork at ABB involved managing product lines and developing cyber security for different systems. Peter joined Westermo Network Technologies in 2023 as a Product Manager of Services. Prior to their professional career, they worked as a teaching assistant in Managerial Economics at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.

Peter Ahlström attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2006 to 2011, where they received a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. In 2009-2010, they also studied at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) as part of an exchange program, focusing on the Manangement of Technology. Additionally, in 2008, Peter took an Introductory Course in Business Law at Lund University.
