John Douglas is an experienced professional in human resources and management, currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Affirmations Community Center since July 2019. In this role, John has successfully designed and implemented a COVID response plan, enhanced diversity initiatives, developed recruitment strategies, and streamlined the onboarding process. Additionally, John has managed health insurance negotiations and served as the organizational representative for state and federal matters. Concurrently, John has been the Grocery Manager at Westborn Market since March 2018, overseeing a team and managing vendor relationships. John's previous roles include Inventory Manager and Purchasing Manager at Door to Door Organics, Purchasing Specialist at Savco Hospitality, and various positions in management and inventory at other companies. John holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from Oakland Community College.
