David Poon, CPP, currently serves as the Head of Museum Security at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since March 2020. With a career in law enforcement dating back to January 1985, David Poon holds the position of Chief Superintendent of Police (Auxiliary) with the Hong Kong Police Force, overseeing training, discipline, and deployment of Auxiliary officers. Prior roles include Head of Security and Fraud Risk at Hang Seng Bank and Director at Hang Seng Security Management Limited from September 2010 to January 2019, and Off Course Security Manager at The Hong Kong Jockey Club from February 2009 to September 2010. David Poon also served as Director of Security at MGM Grand Macau from December 2006 to November 2008, responsible for all physical security on the property. David Poon earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Law Enforcement and Security Management from Hong Kong Metropolitan University between 2003 and 2006.
