Betty Fung is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in public administration and cultural management. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority since October 2021, Betty previously held key positions within the Hong Kong Government, including Head of the Policy Innovation and Coordination Office and Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs from July 2014 to December 2020. Additionally, Betty served as the Director of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department from August 2009 to July 2014 and as Director of the Information Services Department from June 2007 to August 2009. Betty holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a focus on Economics and Sociology from The University of Hong Kong and furthered academic pursuits at the University of Oxford.
