Ruth A. Stevens is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in HR operations and management. Currently serving as the Human Resources Operations Manager at West Fraser since October 2020, Ruth partners with leadership to implement strategies aligned with organizational goals and provides support to Regional Operations Managers and HR professionals. Previously, Ruth held key roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC, including Senior HR Generalist and Human Resources Manager, where significant improvements in labor relations and contract negotiations were achieved. Ruth's earlier experience includes managing HR functions at Custom Building Products and Majestic Star Casino, focusing on policy development, employee relations, and compliance. Ruth holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and a Bachelor of Science in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
