Steve Parsons has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to 2024. Steve worked as a Professional Hockey Player in the American Hockey League from 1999 to 2003. Later on, they held various roles including Sales and Marketing Representative at Bronco Drilling Services Ltd., Accounts Manager at Northern Mat & Bridge LP, Business Development Manager at Groundforce GeoDrilling Solutions Inc., Manager of Contracts at Total Oilfield Rentals Ltd, General Manager at Total Energy Services, and Supply Chain Manager at Trans Mountain. From 2017 onwards, Steve also had their own business called Edgeboss Hockey. Currently, they are the Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Operations at West Earth Sciences Ltd., where they oversee business activities and processes and works collaboratively with Indigenous First Nations.

Steve Parsons attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Petroleum Management. Steve returned to SAIT in 2015 and completed a program in Supply Chain Management from 2015 to 2017.
